Writing in Waters

Writing in waters is the educational programme that will take place in San Marino during the Biennale, aiming to challenge concepts of knowledge production, processes of unlearning and question fluxes of information. The planned activities will create opportunities for the development of practices and exchange among young creatives.

Fellows engage in a mediation across various venues, taking part in Internal Flow conversations, reading groups, and research. They also contribute to and co-produce Fluidscape — a series of podcasts, where they expand on the artworks featured in the Biennale, unfolding disciplinary boundaries and engaging the public via their own voices. Alongside these collaborative activities, the fellows are part of Antiphony by artist Hanan Benammar, a performance where they engage in conversation with the audience on specific glosses related to the Mediterranean.
