About the artist

Michele Seffino (1991, Italy) is a sound and visual artist currently based in Graz, Austria. After studying drums for over a decade, he studied Music & New Technologies at the Conservatory of Music in Trieste and Computer Music at the Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics in Graz. He mainly works on sound and multimedia installations and time-based art, focusing on the relations between art, natural and artificial environments, with a particular interest in the development of sound works designed to be enjoyed and experienced in domestic and daily environments.

He performed and exhibited at the IEM (Graz), Forum Stadtpark (Graz), deSingel (Antwerp), Diffrazioni Festival (Florence), ZKM (Karlsruhe), Ronzii (Pisa), Paratissima (Torino), Klangmanifeste (Vienna).
