About the artist

Bianca Hisse (1994, Brazil) is a Brazilian artist currently living in Norway. From a double movement between choreography and visual arts, her work investigates how today’s societies are choreographed by global demands.

Her projects have been featured across Norway and internationally, including: Tromsø Kunstforening, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Rijeka (Croatia), BABEL Visningsrom for kunst, PRAKSIS Oslo and Kunstnernes Hus, Small Projects (all in Norway), Galerija Miroslav Kraljevic (Zagreb), and others. She has performed in numerous festivals, including: Sofia Performance Art Festival (Bulgaria); BONE Performance Art Festival (Switzerland); Performance Art Bergen (Norway); 13festivalen at Galleri Konstepidemin (Sweden), The 12th International Media Arts Festival (St. Petersburg). Bianca holds a Master in Fine Arts from Kunstakademiet i Tromso, and was recently a fellow at WHW Akademija in Zagreb, Croatia.
